Last week I wrote about apples. Pumpkin treats are another favorite fall food. Here's a recipe from MarthaStewart.com for Pumpkin Pancakes. This recipe for Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread from Cooking Light is a family favorite. I use sour cream in place of the vanilla pudding. And this unusual vegetarian pumpkin curry recipe from Sunset Magazine is worth trying.

I've been thinking about one of my favorite books, Perusasion. The wonderful Austenonly blog has pages dedicated to each Jane Austen novel, including Persuasion, as well as many other interesting articles. And here's a vid I made of the 2007 version of "Persuasion" with Rupert Penry Jones. I also enjoy the Cirian Hinds film as well. :)
