What I'm Reading & A Cookie Recipe

As usual, I'm reading several books at once. Some are taking months, others will be read quickly. Not to say the slow reads are lacking, just slower. Anyone else read multiple books or have something which takes months to read?

Miss Julia to the Rescue by Ann B. Ross

I'll probably finish the Miss Julia book soon, as it's a humorous read and a library book (we go every week). The other two were free Kindle books...enjoyable, but I tend to prefer paper books still. :)
